On Friday, April 28, the SBM Forum - a trade congress for sustainable and ecological materials for the construction and finishing of buildings - will be held at Messe Karlsruhe at the same time as the RecyclingAKTIV & TiefbauLIVE demonstration trade fair. After the successful premiere of the SBM Summit in 2022, where experts mainly exchanged views on sustainable primary raw materials, this year's forum will focus thematically on sustainable secondary raw materials, which mainly come from recycling operations.
Very practice-oriented, the speakers' presentations are aimed at recycling companies on the one hand and the construction industry on the other. Topics will include sorting by type, new findings on the use of R-concrete, the classification of secondary building materials and plant-based fibers for regional value chains.
